This summer, 220 employees of the U.S. Geological Survey, or USGS, are set to move in at NASA’s Ames Research Center, in California’s Silicon Valley. The proximity of the two research communities will enhance their collaboration and offer a unique opportunity to study our planet from orbit to core.
