India Announces Plans For Its First Human Space Mission

The India media covers the launch of the solar-powered rover Chandrayaan-2 in September. The goal was a moon landing, but the craft crashed. Another attempt to send a rover to the moon is underway.

It hopes to become the fourth nation, after the United States, China and Russia, to send people into space. The mission is targeted for 2022.
