Astronaut recruitments tips with ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet

ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet is training for his second six-month mission called Alpha that will see him launch as part Crew-2 on the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft with NASA astronaut Megan Behnken and Shane Kimbrough and Japanese astronaut Aki Hoshide.

From the European Astronaut Centre’s Columbus module mockup in Cologne, Germany, Thomas reflects briefly on how he applied and gives some advice to people considering to send their application in for this decade’s astronaut recruitment campaign.
