Venus Mass Spectrometer (VMS) is one of five instruments aboard NASA’s DAVINCI descent probe. VMS will sample gas during the probe’s descent, analyze it, and provide information about the chemical composition of the Venusian atmosphere and possible connections to surface mineralogies.
