A novel method of treating high-salinity nitrogenous wastewater

Nitrogen in hypersaline wastewater produced by industry represents a severe threat to the aqueous environment, and the accumulation of ammonia nitrogen often results in excessive multiplication of algae and leads to decrease of dissolved oxygen and the death of higher organisms. Meanwhile, the nitrite and nitrosamine in water serious threat to health and life safety of human, animal and microbes. Accordingly, the removal of nitrogen from high-salinity wastewater is a priority.
