NASA’s Roman Mission Delivers Detectors to Japan’s PRIME Telescope

Roman has provided four surplus detectors to Japan’s Prime-focus Infrared Microlensing Experiment (PRIME) telescope. This telescope will hunt for exoplanets using the microlensing method, and Roman scientists will use the results to inform their observing strategy and maximize the number of planets the mission will find.
