Inequality and COVID-19: Barcelona's poorest districts most affected by school confinement during pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic hit educational systems. It is estimated that approximately 1.6 billion children worldwide were affected by school closures, which had a major impact on their learning. In Catalonia, one of the measures to control the spread of this virus was the confinement of class groups when a case of positive COVID-19 was detected.
