They say it takes a village to raise a child. To launch a rocket, we have the combined expertise and passion of Space Team Europe. Olivier Ryckebosch, Test Conductor for France’s space agency CNES, is one of many making the first Ariane 6 launch possible and has been interviewed as part of a series highlighting some of the people that make up this dream team.
From France, Olivier started work at Arianespace before joining CNES in 2008. As test conductor he was responsible for the Ariane 6 combined test phase to qualify Europe’s new rocket for launch at Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana. A huge task and the teamwork by the 200 people on this adventure is what gives Olivier great satisfaction – proud to see the team thrive!
