Air Force Space Command has contracted an outside agency to evaluate opportunities at each of its bases to dispose of unneeded real estate, optimize existing facility-space use and reduce energy and operating costs.
Booz Allen Hamilton’s first stop landed them with the Masters of Space. The team briefed wing and tenant leadership March 30 about their mission and how they will work to provide recommendations for the base to operate more efficiently.
“We fully support this effort to help us become a more effective and efficient installation,” said Col. Wayne Monteith, 50th Space Wing commander.
