OXON HILL, Md. — Lt. Gen. Michael Basla, Air Force Space Command’s vice commander, observes members of the Orlando, Fla. Civil Air Patrol Cadet Squadron as they participate here April 1 in Cyber Patriot, the nation’s fastest growing and largest high school cyber defense competition. Cyber Patriot occurred during the Air Force Association’s Cyber Futures Symposium and Convention at the National Harbor. Teams from 48 states, the US Virgin Islands, Guam, Puerto Rico, and US Department of Defense schools in Korea and Japan entered this exciting competition that educates and inspires America’s youth about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
