Air Force Space Command hosted its second annual Sexual Assault Response Conference here March 14-17.
The conference, which was recognized last year as an Air Force Best Practice, was kicked off by Lt. Gen. Michael J. Basla, AFSPC vice commander.
General Basla is passionate about taking care of Airman and campaigns regularly for sexual assault prevention and response and asserted that the acts of harming another person or harming oneself have no place in the Air Force, and are in direct contradiction to the “culture that we are working to establish.”
