What is more interesting for students than learning through hands-on experience about scientific concepts related to space?
The École des métiers de l’aérospatiale, part of the Commission scolaire de Montréal, has worked with several partners, including the Canadian Space Agency, to modify an 18-metre trailer and recreate the interior of the International Space Station.
The National Mobile Space Station offers a high-tech setting where students must apply the scientific method to carry out missions assigned by their teachers. Many areas of scientific investigation are covered, from astronomy to botany, and from robotics to electricity.
The National Mobile Space Station will travel to schools across Quebec and, later, the rest of Canada, so that as many young people as possible benefit from this enriching experience.
