The Soyuz 2 launcher with six Globalstar second-generation satellites has completed its assembly, and is now cleared for a rollout to Launch Pad #6 at Baikonur Cosmodrome in the morning hours of October 16. This mission, to be performed for Arianespace by its Starsem affiliate, will lift off from the Cosmodrome on October 19, and is the first of four flights to deploy a total of 24 Globalstar spacecraft.
