Arianespace completed its ninth year of Ariane 5 operations with another on-target dual-payload mission from French Guiana. Launched from the Spaceport’s ELA-3 complex, the heavy-lift Ariane 5 ECA orbited HOT BIRD™ 9 and W2M for Europe’s Eutelsat telecommunications operator – marking the 28th consecutive success for the workhorse launch vehicle.
