Abstract: We report upon the development and testing of a 4-stage adiabatic demagnetization refrigerator (ADR) capable of continuous cooling at 0.100 Kelvin. This cooler is being built to cool the detector array aboard NASA’s Primordial Inflation Polarization Explorer (PIPER) observatory.
