Abstract: In space, astronauts are exposed to environmental stressors that often result in physiological changes. One prominent stressor in spaceflight is microgravity, and research has shown that long term microgravity exposure causes muscle atrophy, bone loss, cardiovascular concerns, and vision impairment.
