Scientists in South Korea have now demonstrated a fully packaged ultrathin insect-eye camera, which offers high contrast and super-resolution imaging by using new optical materials and techniques. This ultrathin arrayed camera could have practical use in mobile devices, advanced surveillance vehicles, and endoscopes without technical reservation.
