Tranquility at Pad; Astronauts Due at KSC Today

The Tranquility node was taken to Launch Pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center overnight arriving at about 3 a.m. EST. Technicians are getting the latest International Space Station module ready to be loaded into space shuttle Endeavour’s payload bay for launch on the STS-130 mission.

The six astronauts for the STS-130 mission fly to Kennedy to start their Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test and related training. They’re now scheduled to arrive in T-38 jets at Kennedy’s Shuttle Landing Facility at about 4:20 p.m. The arrival will be carried live on NASA Television.
