Abstract: The Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) mission has provided unprecedented observations of terrestrial water storage (TWS) dynamics at basin to continental scales. TWS is defined as the sum of groundwater, soil moisture, snow, surface water, ice and biomass water.
